Ease your Pen tool frustration with the Auto Add/Delete

Mastering the art of drawing with the Pen tool requires practice. Modifying your paths is an even tougher skill to master. One way you can make adjusting your paths easier is to turn on the Auto Add/Delete feature.



Auto Add/Delete is an option in the Pen tool options bar, as shown in Figure A. Simply select the Pen tool pen from the Toolbox, and you’ll see the option in the tool options bar. When deselected, you must switch over to the Add Anchor Point add_anchor or Delete Anchor Point delete_anchor tool to add or remove points on the path or use knuckle-busting keyboard combination...
