Activate bigger tiles in Photoshop CS2

Photoshop divides images into sections called tiles as it processes them. On computers with 1 GB of RAM or more, you can activate the Bigger Tiles plug-in to increase tile size. Once you activate this plug-in, it may appear as though your images redraw more slowly. However, increasing the tile size reduces the overall amount of time Photoshop takes to process images.

To activate the Bigger Tiles plug-in:
1. Quit out of Photoshop.
2. Locate the ~Bigger Tiles.plugin file in the Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS2/Plug-Ins/Adobe Photoshop Only/Extensions/Bigger Tiles folder (Program Files/Adobe/ Adobe Photoshop CS2/Plug-Ins/ Adobe Photoshop Only/Extensions/ Bigger Tiles in Windows).
3. Remove the tilde (~) from the filename.
4. Restart Photoshop. ...
