Create and edit customized color swatches in Photoshop documents

I use Photoshop to add color to area maps that have been produced with a CAD program. The drawings are exported as AI files, so I'm able to copy and paste the paths. I have a set of special colors I use for the various map symbols. Each time I begin a new map, I have to create another set of swatches, one by one for 20 special colors. Is there any way to avoid having to do this?

 

One of Photoshop's great features is the Color Picker command. Since it enables you to create, add, edit, and save custom colors, you need only to create a set of custom colors once, and later load them into other Photoshop documents. To display the Color Picker dialog...
