Rotate patterns in filled Illustrator objects (CS/CS2)

Whenever you draw objects in Illustrator and then fill them with patterns, your patterns don't rotate when you rotate the object using the Free Transform tool, as shown in Figure A. But, there is a way you can rotate both the pattern and the object. Select the object and double-click on the Rotate tool icon in the Toolbox. When the Rotate dialog box opens, enter a value in the Angle text box, and select both the Objects and Patterns check boxes. Click OK to rotate both the pattern and the object, as shown in Figure B.
