Easily create images from PDF pages with Acrobat Professional's Save As command

I'm often asked to provide pages from PDF documents as images that are then used for such things as Microsoft PowerPoint presentations or for our website. In the past, I've done this by making several screen captures (a.k.a. screen shots) of parts of a page, and then stitching them together in Photoshop. If there are multiple pages in the PDF, the process can take many hours. Is there any easier way to do this?
