Clear your Illustrator artboard view with the press of a few keys (CS/CS2)

When working in Illustrator, you may find times when the Toolbox and palettes get in the way of a clear view of your artwork, as shown in Figure A. When you need an uncluttered view of your artwork, simply press the [tab] key. The Toolbox and palettes disappear, as shown in Figure B. Press the [tab] key once again and they'll return to view. If you wish to work with only the palettes hidden, but not the Toolbox, press [shift][tab] to hide just the palettes. Press the same key combination again to bring them back to view.
