Actions are great for automating repetitive tasks or applying a pre-recorded technique quickly. But all that saved time isn’t worth a dime if you’re lost in the Actions panel’s clutter and can’t find the action you need.
As shown in Figure A, when your Actions panel grows long it’s sometimes confusing to scroll through and find the one you want. The good news is that you can ease the pain with one minor change: Set the panel to preview in Button Mode.
