Well, we have got a quick and easy to understand Photoshop tutorial to help you recreate the mood of your picture. These 6 easy steps will help you to change the mood of your picture.

Step 1 :-

Take a day light camera image.


Step 2 :-

Go to Image > Adjustment > Selective Color and select white in droplet color menu; set the value of
other color as shown in the screenshot.

Step 3 :-

Choose History Tool and set the previous history in palette; apply on rest of image except sky part.

Step 4 :-

Go to Image > Adjustment > Photo filter and set the warming filter with orange color as shown in the screenshot.

Step 5 :-

Go to Image > Adjustment > Brightness/ Contrast and set the value.

Step 6 :-

Choose History Tool and apply on the sign boards to reduce the yellowish tone.

Go to Image > Adjustment > Bright & Contrast.

Step 4 :-

Go to Layer > Layer Style and set the background with gradient as shown in the screenshot.

We all know it is so difficult to capture real smoke in photographs. Time is running and very light that makes the smoke look good makes the rest of the image poorly exposed. With the help of simple Photoshop techniques we can teach you to add to perfectly exposed images digitally that’s helps it look better than the real deal.

This is what you do:

  • Design a customized smoke pattern with the Brush tool.
  • Soften your paint strokes with the Smudge tool to enhance their appearance.
  • Accentuate your strokes with the Plastic Wrap filter to make them look more realistic.
  • Enhance other images with your finished smoke image.

As we can see in Figure A that plumes from an extinguished candle are very captivating for our eyes. However, in this image smoke is a Photoshop enhancement. You might think of it as a difficult job, but as you read this article you’ll find that it’s much easier than capturing the real thing with your camera. Also you have a lot more control over the final image.
