Drag an appearance for easy design consistency in Illustrator (CS/CS2/CS3)

You’ve just created an appearance in Illustrator that is so brilliant that you want to apply it to all the other objects in the rest of your artwork. Here’s a quick way to apply it using the Appearance palette:
1. Select the object whose appearance you want to copy.
2. Click and drag its small preview thumbnail from the Appearance palette onto the object whose appearance you want to modify, as shown in Figure A.


If the preview isn’t showing, choose Show Thumbnail from the Appearance palette’s pop-up menu. It’s as easy as that! ...
