3 steps to consistent color between Creative Suite

Even if just slightly, color values from the same image can vary between Creative Suite applications, as shown in Figure A. This happens for many reasons. Different color spaces contain different gamut ranges, and each software application defines color differently. Get all of your Creative Suite applications to use the same colors and profiles, though, and you can obtain consistent color.

The first step to obtaining consistent color is to synchronize the color settings across all your Creative Suite applications. These color settings, or profiles, define the conditions under which files print and display.
