Scale digital prints to fit to your page dimensions

Application:

Adobe Photoshop CS/CS2/CS3/CS4

Operating Systems:

Macintosh, Microsoft Windows

I finally bought a digital camera and just realized that the images are bigger than my printer can print. I don’t want to resize my images, is there an easy way to get my images to fit to my page?

Well, you didn’t mention how big your printer can print so we’ll assume you’ve got a standard 8.5 x 11-inch paper size. If your camera is set to capture lower-resolution images, you might very well be able to print to that size paper. However, as shown in Figure A, the dimensions for a high-resolution image are out of range for an 8.5 x 11-inch paper.
