Do you have a quick and easy way to create a watery looking background from scratch in Photoshop?

When you need a watery background, you can make one yourself with the tools and filters that reside in Photoshop. To do so, start with a blank canvas in RGB mode and then:

1.       Select a greenish-blue color for your foreground swatch and choose Filter > Render > Clouds. Deepen the cloud rendering by copying the layer and setting the top layer’s blending mode to Multiply.
2.      Activate the top layer and choose Filter > Distort > Ocean Ripple with settings of 15 for Ripple Size and 17 for Magnitude.  Click OK.
